artist survivability

I was pondering today, why the Man, insofar as He has any Real existence, allows the propagation of movies like Gia, or Basquiat, or Pollock; or any of these outrageous life stories about outrageously exceptional people...

... while insisting on trying to censor a simple, non-perverted BARE BUM (horrors!) on a book cover (BC Ferries FAIL)...

then I realized: the message of these films, when you put them side-by-side is:

EXCEPTIONAL PEOPLE DESTROY THEMSELVES.

Heaven forfend artists, particularly the genius ones, should live long and healthy lives...
